Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe


Today, we're excited to share with you a recipe for a classic American dessert: chocolate chip cookies. Soft and chewy on the inside, with a slight crunch on the outside, these cookies are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop the dough byrounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown around the edges.
  5. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
